Who Are We?

Rocky Creek Church of Christ is located in Lucedale, Mississippi, off of Hwy 63 on Rocky Creek Road. We have approximately 130 in attendance. Our pulpit minister is Dr. Stephen Crigler, who began his work with the congregation on September 6, 2009.

Our History:

The history of Rocky Creek Church is one of faith, dedication, and growth. In 1935, the Adams family generously donated land to the church, which included a dwelling house. This location became the congregation's meeting place and remains our church's site today.

By the early 1940s, a wooden church building and a "preacher's house" were constructed on the same site. Over the years, the church expanded, with a brick section added to the front of the wooden structure. In the 1960s, the current church building and preacher’s house were constructed. It is said that materials from the original building, including the wooden boards, were carefully salvaged and repurposed in the new construction, preserving a piece of our heritage.

In 1978-79, the auditorium was refurbished, and in 1980, an additional structure was built to the left of the church. This building now serves as our fellowship hall, providing a space for gatherings, events, and ministry activities.
